This was a project that we did with local Scottsdale artist Jeff Zischke. These gems were cut from sheet steel in a flat form then bent and welded together to form the gem shapes. They were then suspended by cables between buildings at the Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art, and lights were inserted into them so that at night when light the images that were cut into the sides of the gems are projected onto the walls of the surrounding buildings.
